I ordered an item from Takealot and received the incorrect item of higher value. Being a honest human being, I returned the incorrect item and requested the correct item i ordered. Throughout this process they dragged their feet, as if i was the one in the wrong, even after they finally picked up the incorrect item. I then received an email informing me that the item i initially ordered was no longer in stock and that my account would be credited. I then went Maxi Spin bonus onto Takealot’s shop and not only did i find that the item was still in fact in stock, but they decided to hike up the price. I then contacted them again with this information and confronted them.

Love the Takealot app, I have it on my iPhone and iPad, and use it regularly. Great selection of stock items, and have never had a problem with orders/delivery/returns.Only problem I have that is very annoying is that the app interface will not rotate from portrait to landscape when I adjust my device. I use my iPad with a separate keyboard fitting and which is much easier to search and work with in general, but because the app won’t rotate I can only use the touch-screen keyboard, in portrait mode. The interface doesn’t rotate on my phone either but I generally only use my phone in portrait mode so its not an issue there. Would be great if the developers could fix this problem since it will make using the app on my iPad much more pleasant.
